We will be auctioning off a miniature pony that was donated by Mountain Top Farm Events. A big thanks Cantele Tent Rentals for donating the tables and chairs for the event. We will also have a PGA NENY Junior Golf Skills Challenge that will be like a Drive, Chip & Putt Competition.

100% of the proceeds from this event benefit the kids in Columbia, Greene and Northern Dutchess County Schools through the Playground Golf Foundation 501C3.

The Playground Golf Foundation’s mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. These programs will benefit all children in Columbia, Greene and Northern Dutchess County schools, including those that are underprivileged, have a physical or mental challenge, or are terminally ill. This introduction will impact the lives of children by providing equipment, transportation, scholarships and professional golf instruction delivered by trained PGA and The First Tee coaches. These coaches will work hand in hand with host schools’ physical educators, during gym class. These in class activities along with after school programs will bridge the gap between golf and life, engage children to play this lifelong sport, and teach children these 9 core values:

These are life skills that will shape our youth into fine upstanding members of society, our local community and will promote the growth of the game. Classes will consist of golf instruction, fun games and snacks for the kids to enjoy.
