100% of the proceeds from these events will go towards providing equipment and programming to the children in schools of Columbia and Greene and Northern Dutchess Counties. Sponsored by our good friends at the Iron Horse Cigar Depot the Iron Horse Cigar Depot Open Charity Golf Tournament at Copake is the same as this event!

The sole purpose of these events is to engage the community to create awareness about the ultimate goals of the Playground Golf Foundation 501(c)(3). These events will involve fun activities, games, food and beverage all for a great cause.

Kids will be receiving FREE PGA Instruction INDOORS on the patio utilizing SNAG Golf and Play ShortGolf Equipment!

The Playground Golf Foundation’s purpose is to provide golf as and option to all children, including those that are underprivileged, physically/mentally challenged or terminally ill.

This introduction will impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs delivered by trained PGA and The First Tee Trained Professionals during school hours. These in class activities along with after school programs will teach children these 9 core values:

These are life skills that will shape our youth into fine upstanding members of society, our local community and will promote the growth of the game.
